FileZilla Client 3.71.1 is the free Windows program for moving files with FTP, FTPS, and SFTP. FileZilla Server and FileZilla Pro are different products.
Editorial description
This page covers FileZilla Client only. The client transfers files between a PC and a server you can already reach. FileZilla Server is the separate program that hosts files for other people. FileZilla Pro is a separate paid client that adds cloud protocols such as WebDAV and S3. The free client does not include those Pro protocols.
Client 3.71.1 was released on 26 August 2026. It is a bugfix release, and SFTP keyboard-interactive prompts are handled more reliably. The client license is GPL version 3 or later. The server license is AGPL, and that license belongs to FileZilla Server, not to this client. On the free client the protocols are FTP, FTP over TLS (FTPS), and SFTP.
The Windows download described here is the 64-bit (x64) build from filezilla-project.org. A 32-bit Windows build is also offered for older PCs. The project does not publish a numeric CPU, RAM, or disk minimum. Download only from filezilla-project.org, because third-party bundles exist. Softcoria does not host the installer.
