Viber on Windows is a desktop client for messaging and calling. It runs only after it syncs to a Viber account that is already activated on a phone.
Editorial description
Rakuten Viber's Windows client is not a second account. You install it, then link it to the Viber app already registered on a phone. The current download is the 64-bit build for Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows 11 on ARM64. Separate downloads exist for 32-bit Windows and for Windows 8 or lower. The supported-platforms article lists Windows 10 64-bit, version 1607 and newer, and Windows 11. The desktop client works only after the phone app is registered.
Setup is install, open Viber on the phone, scan the desktop QR code, approve activation, and tap Sync. Activating the phone with a number and a code sent by SMS or call belongs to the phone app. That code does not replace the desktop QR step. If the QR screen never appears, Viber documents TCP and UDP ports 80, 443, 4244, 5242, 5243, and 7985.
Some chat features are not available on the desktop client. The pages used here do not name them, so this record does not guess. Softcoria does not host the installer. Get the client from viber.com. No current desktop build number is published in the sources for this page.
